LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball head coach Gerry Glasco announced the addition of Bailey Curry on Tuesday, a transfer from Toledo who was the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Freshman of the Year and one of the nation's top freshman sluggers in 2018.
The rising sophomore infielder, also named to the NFCA All-Great Lakes Region team, led Toledo in average (.362), hits (64), home runs (14), RBI (46), walks (34), slugging (.633) and on-base percentage (.465) during her collegiate debut campaign.
Curry's 14 home runs established a new single-season record for the Rockets, eclipsing the standard which had stood since 1990.
