CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Led by freshman Jan Galka getting a win in singles over a nationally ranked opponent and a dominating team win in the first match of the day, Louisiana Men's Tennis (13-3) took down DePaul, 4-0, and earned an extremely competitive 4-3 win over UTSA, to open the 53rd HEB Tournament of Champions to clinch a spot in the final, set to be played on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 10:30 a.m.
Galka's win over UTSA's Kai Breitbach, ranked No. 119 in the nation, was just the icing on the cake in a day where he went 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles to finish the day 4-0.
