LAFAYETTE – In what was a hotly contested match, Louisiana Men's Tennis (19-6, 1-1 SBC) went toe-to-toe with the Georgia State Panthers (10-8, 2-0 SBC), falling in a heartbreaker, 4-3, in a Sunday morning battle at Cajun Courts.

Louisiana bounced back from dropping the doubles point, winning three matches in singles to push the match to the limit. During the match, senior Arthur Libaud won his fourth straight match, while freshman Jan Galka continued his strong start to his collegiate career, winning his second straight match to improve his record to 9-6 in singles.
