LAFAYETTE, La. – The second-seeded Louisiana baseball team couldn't overcome a three-run fifth inning by third-seeded Troy as the Ragin' Cajuns fell 10-1 in a winner's bracket contest late Thursday night at the Sun Belt Conference tournament hosted at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.
The loss snapped a five-game win streak for the Ragin' Cajuns (34-24) who were outhit 13-4 in the contest.
Junior Hogan Harris was tagged with his second loss of the season after surrendering four runs on six hits in 5.0 innings of work. Harris struck out seven but allowed seven free passes with three walks and four hit batters.
