LAFAYETTE – Louisiana will get its first taste of life on the road on Wednesday evening when it makes the short drive north to face Louisiana Tech at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m.
The game, which was originally scheduled to be played on Tuesday night, will be Louisiana's first of five-straight road games and one of two mid-week road contests against in-state opponents.
Sophomore Jacob Schultz (0-0) will make his first career start for Louisiana in Wednesday's game, the third pitcher to make his Ragin' Cajun starting debut this season.
