LAFAYETTE, La. – The Louisiana baseball team had its five-game win streak snapped on Wednesday night as the Cajuns fell to Louisiana Tech 15-2 at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.
The Ragin' Cajuns (20-18) were outhit 17-4 in the contest by the Bulldogs (26-13) led by Mason Robinson who hit for the cycle with five RBI.
Freshman Austin Perrin took the loss after giving up six runs (four earned) on five hits and three walks in 2.1 innings of work.
La Tech starter David Leal tossed seven shutout innings with three hits, a walk and six strikeouts to earn his third victory of the year.
