BOONE, N.C. – Beau Robinson became the first Louisiana runner to record four top-10 finishes at the Sun Belt Conference Cross Country Championships in school history while Courtney Musgrove earned a top-10 as the duo led the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns to a fifth-place finish on Saturday at the State Farm Fields-Kennedy Trails.
Louisiana scored 113 points in the men's 8K race to finish fifth overall while the Ragin' Cajuns scored 131 points in the women's 5K race to earn a fifth-place performance – their best showing since finishing fourth in 2014 and the lowest team score since 2003 (130 points).
