LAFAYETTE – Coming off a heartbreaking 51-50 defeat against Little Rock on Thursday evening, the Louisiana Women's Basketball team looks to bounce back in a big way when it takes on Arkansas State. Tipoff is slated for 2 p.m.
Saturday's contest, which will be the team's blackout game, is pivotal for the Ragin' Cajuns, who are clinging on to the fourth-seed in the Sun Belt Conference standings.
It was a tough game all around for Louisiana on Thursday night, battling on both ends of the floor before ultimately falling to Little Rock. Lanay Wheaton led the way with 14 points, while Makayia Hallmon and Ty'Reona Doucet each scored 10 points.
