LAFAYETTE, La. – The 20th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team fell 4-3 to Wright State on Sunday in an eventful series finale at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.
The defeat marks the first non-conference series loss for the Cajuns (2-5) since 2012 against Southern Miss. Both the Ragin' Cajuns and the Raiders (2-4) tallied 11 hits in the contest.
Freshman Austin Perrin was handed his second loss of the year allowing three runs on seven hits with four walks and three strikeouts in 4.0 innings of work. Caleb Sampen earned the victory for Wright State going 5.
