LAFAYETTE – Thanks to freshman Floriane Picaut's hard fought three-set clinching win at No. 2 singles, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team snagged their eighth win of the season, to improve their record to 8-3, with a 4-3 win over the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders Thursday night under the lights at Cajun Courts.
The win home improves their home record to 7-1 and it's the first time the Cajuns have beaten the Islanders since Feb. 18, 2010 and it evens out the Islanders record at 3-3.
