SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team defeated incarnate Word by a 4-3 final Sunday in San Antonio.
With the win, the Cajuns improved their overall record to 3-2 on the season.
"When you have a small lineup and one of your top players are out it is never easy," Ragin' Cajuns head coach Mark Jeffrey said. "We gave up a lot this weekend so it wasn't representative of what we can do as a team."
Incarnate Word took the doubles match, 2-1 as Joey Vatanadilok and Sebastian Mortier defeated UL's duo of Edgar Lopez and Eric Perez, 6-4.
