CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team finished the HEB Tournament of Champions in third place this weekend, defeating Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 4-2 on Saturday.
The win improved the Cajuns' record to 9-7 this spring.
"We were down 4-1 on Number two doubles," Ragin' Cajuns head coach Mark Jeffrey said. "They came back and won with five straight games. That gave us good momentum to gain the doubles point at 3. We lost four first sets in singles but clawed our way back. Jake Wynan helped us get to 2-1 and then Eric Perez gave us a ton of momentum with his win.
