LAFAYETTE -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team kicks off the 2016 spring season against Lamar at Cajun Courts this Saturday, Jan. 16.
First serve is set for 1 p.m. against the Cardinals. Saturday's match is sponsored by Bernhard Energy. Lamar plays at the University of Texas Tuesday night before making their way to Lafayette to battle the Cajuns on Saturday.
"Lamar has a very solid team this year," Ragin' Cajuns head coach Mark Jeffrey said. "They finished second in the Southland Conference last year and they return everyone back. The top of their lineup is extremely tough with Nikita Lis and Michael Feucht leading the way for them.
