LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team will take the court for the first time on Thursday when it faces off in the Red-White Scrimmage at Blackham Coliseum.
Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. Admission is free with doors opening at 6 p.m. The first 500 fans in the door will receive free popcorn and a drink. Posters and season ticket brochures will be available for fans.
Louisiana, which finished 19-15 last season, returns three starters and five letterwinners from last year's team. Senior Jay Wright, a Preseason Third-Team All-Sun Belt Conference selection, returns to the lineup and will be joined by returning starters Johnathan Stove and Bryce Washington with newcomers Frank Bartley, Jerekius Davis and Kadavion Evans looking to make significant contributions.
