LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football team held its second workout of spring drills on Thursday, spending nearly two hours in helmets while honoring local first responders at the Ragin' Cajuns Practice Fields.
Louisiana, which earned its fifth bowl trip in the last six seasons, continued work in the installation of its offensive and defensive packages, along with work on special teams fundamentals.
"Anytime you can get out on the grass during the springtime and sunshine, it's always a great day," head coach Mark Hudspeth said. "I'm really proud of the way the guys continue to come to practice, with a lot of energy and juice.
