LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football team avoided inclement weather in the Lafayette area as it opened spring drills on Tuesday, working for nearly two hours in the Moncla Indoor Practice Facility.
Louisiana, which played in its fifth bowl game in six years under head coach Mark Hudspeth, worked on installation of its new offense under first-year offensive coordinator Will Hall. Looking to replace departed quarterback Anthony Jennings, returning players Jordan Davis, Dion Ray Jake Arceneaux, along with transfer Andre Nunez all took part in directing the offense.
