LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Baseball Coach Matt Deggs needed only one word to describe the team's official start to fall practice on Tuesday at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.
"Amazing," the fourth-year coach said.
Coming off a 37-win season which was highlighted by a Sun Belt Conference championship and NCAA Regional appearance, Louisiana opened up its first full-team workouts which will run through November 13.
Louisiana went through a simulated intrasquad on its first day and will play three daily intrasquads beginning on Thursday at noon. The intrasquads are open to the public.
