LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Women's Tennis found a way to win at Southeastern Louisiana on Thursday evening, beating the Lions by a score of 4-3. The win moves the Ragin' Cajuns up to 7-0. This is the first time the Louisiana Women's Tennis team has started 7-0 since 2007.
The Ragin' Cajuns started by losing the doubles point and the first singles match, giving SLU a 2-0 lead.
First to win for Louisiana was Clara Mantaux, defeating Polina Sleptsova in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1. SLU then won the next match to take a 3-1 lead.
