LAFAYETTE – Louisiana baseball must put a challenging week behind it in preparation for a new slate of games beginning on Tuesday evening when it welcomes in-state foe Tulane to Russo Park. First pitch for the midweek clash is set for 6:30 p.m.
The two programs met less than a week ago in New Orleans, a game which Tulane won, 7-3, at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.
Sophomore Hayden Cantrelle is coming off another unforgettable week, batting .500 (10-for-20) with three home runs, two doubles a triple and seven RBI, while extending his hitting streak to 13 games.
