LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Football opened its 2019 Training Camp on Friday, August 2, at Cajun Field with its first full practice under second-year head coach Billy Napier.
With spring and summer workouts in the rear-view mirror, the team hit the field for the first time donning just their shells in preparation for the upcoming season.
Coming off a 7-7, 5-3 campaign that included a trip to the inaugural Sun Belt Conference Championship Game and an appearance in the 2018 AutoNation Cure Bowl, the squad returns 17 starters (8 offense, 6 defense, 3 special teams) as it looks to defend its West Division title.
