LAFAYETTE – With the 2022 regular season rapidly approaching, Louisiana Football got its first taste of game action on Saturday afternoon when the Ragin' Cajuns completed the first scrimmage of Fall Camp.
It was a great showing in all three phases for Louisiana, which is now exactly three weeks from its home opener against Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday, Sept. 3.
Michael Jefferson was a bright spot on offense, setting the tone early on the first play of the scrimmage with a 52-yard snag before finishing the contest with three catches for 75 yards and two touchdowns.
