LAFAYETTE – Coming off an exhilarating home victory over league-leading Troy, Louisiana hits the road to begin at three-game road swing on Saturday, Jan. 15, at South Alabama. Tipoff from the Mitchell Center is scheduled for 2 p.m.
Saturday's contest will be the team's first road game since it faced Houston on Dec. 12, 2021. Louisiana owns a 3-1 record away from home this year.
The Ragin' Cajuns are coming off a huge win over Troy, winning 90-83 on Thursday night. It was Louisiana's first victory over Troy at home since 2017. Louisiana has now scored more than 90 points twice this season, the first time they have achieved that feat since the 1989-90 season when the team did it three times.
