HAMMOND, LA – Louisiana's women's tennis team played two matches on Saturday, and split them winning their first dual match against Alcorn State 4-1, before losing to McNeese, 4-1, on the second day of the 2017 George E. Fourmaux Fed Cup Invitational.
Saturday's results mean the Ragin' Cajuns will face Nicholls in the fifth-place match on Sunday, Nov. 5 at noon and the Cajuns have gone 1-2 over the first two days of the tournament.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Alcorn State Singles): Louisiana took all three singles matches played in the dual match, to give them three points in the match.
