LAFAYETTE, La. - The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team opened its five-week fall practice period on Monday at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park as the Cajuns gear up for a challenging 2018 season.
The fall practice session continues through November 1 and wraps up with the annual Fall World Series. All workouts and intrasquads are open to the public with practices beginning daily at 1:30 p.m.
Louisiana has been busy for the last month engaging in strength and conditioning drills as well as individual workouts on the field.
"It's good for us to finally be able to get in 20 hours of work each week in order to prepare for the tough schedule that we will face in the spring," head coach Tony Robichaux said.
