Louisiana Baseball Falls To Georgia State In 12 Innings

ATLANTA – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team came up on the wrong side of a 6-5 decision on Friday night falling to Georgia State in 12 innings in the series opener at the GSU Baseball Complex.

Reliever Nick Lee was tagged with the loss for the Ragin' Cajuns (24-20, 10-9 SBC) giving up two runs on four hits with three walks and four strikeouts in 4.1 innings.

Tyler Koch claimed the win for the Panthers (21-20, 7-11 SBC) tossing 1.1 scoreless innings with three strikeouts.

Senior Kennon Fontenot increased his on-base streak to 24 games going 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI.
