LAFAYETTE – Julian Brock opened up a 13-hit attack for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Baseball team with a solo home run and sixteen pitchers combined to fan 23 batters over 13-plus innings in a 7-4 win over Northwestern State in a fall baseball scrimmage on Sunday at M.L. Tigue Moore Field at Russo Park.
The teams played a seven-inning game with Louisiana outscoring the Demons, 3-0, before resuming play with a six-inning contest. Three pitchers – Austin Perrin, David Christie and Cooper Rawls – combined to strike out five batters after the 13th inning.
