LAFAYETTE – Louisiana put its power on display on Sunday afternoon, sending three balls sailing over the outfield fence during its series-clinching 4-1 victory over South Alabama at Russo Park.
It was the fourth time this season that the Ragin' Cajuns (19-20, 8-7) have hit three or more homers in a game and the first time since it hit four against Arkansas State on April 6. Louisiana is now 6-2 in games when hitting two or more long balls.
Junior Todd Lott was responsible for one of those jacks and added an RBI single as part of a 2-for-4 outing, while Kole McKinnon and Orynn Veillon added a solo shot each during the home run parade.
