LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball team and Little Rock Trojans found themselves in another tightly contested match, with the visitors edging the hosts in a three-set affair Friday evening at Earl K. Long Gym.
The Trojans' 25-22, 25-20, 25-23 decision mirrored the first matchup back on Oct. 13 in Little Rock which was also decided by a combined 10 points (25-22, 25-22, 25-21).
Little Rock (17-11, 9-6 Sun Belt) held a slim 43-41 edge in kills over Louisiana (14-15, 6-9 Sun Belt) while the Ragin' Cajuns totaled more blocks (8-6) and digs (58-49). The two teams battled through 12 lead changes and 25 ties through the match.
