TUCSON, Ariz. – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball junior Gunner Leger became the fifth Cajuns player since 2014 to be named to the Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division I All-American baseball teams as he was tabbed to the 2017 third team, the publication announced last week.
Leger joins Blake Trahan, Stefan Trosclair, Brenn Conrad and Carson Baranick on the list of players to tabbed to the Collegiate Baseball All-American teams in the last four years.
"This is another well-deserved honor for Gunner," head coach Tony Robichaux said. "Anytime you have someone in your program receive a national award, it puts the university in the spotlight.
