LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball first baseman Kourtney Gremillion, who hit .615 and had three multiple-hit games over the Southeastern Louisiana and Texas State contests, received her first career Sun Belt Conference Player Week award.
Gremillion went 8-for-13 at the plate over the four-game span, with four of the hits producing a run leading to a week total of six RBI.
She opened the week with a career-high hits total in a midweek game at Southeastern Louisiana. That night Gremillion was 4-for-4 at the plate and posted two RBI.
