CONWAY, S.C. – Set-changing runs in the third and fourth frame led Coastal Carolina to a 3-1 (25-16, 21-25, 25-23, 25-18) win over Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball on Friday at the HTC Center.
The Chanticleers ability to keep the Ragin' Cajuns (9-8, 1-2 Sun Belt) from consistently finding the floor, evidenced by a 91-66 edge in digs, was a key factor also.
Louisiana was able to gain traction on offense in the second set, landing 15 kills on a .243 percentage to score a 25-21 win and even the match. It was seven kills down the stretch which helped the Ragin' Cajuns break free from a 14-13 lead.
