LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Volleyball's Kelsey Bennett was named the Sun Belt Conference's Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday (Nov. 2), receiving the award for the third time in the 2021 season.
The junior outside hitter averaged 4.6 kills per set and recorded a .270 hitting percentage as Louisiana (13-8, 8-5 Sun Belt) picked up a key road sweep of Arkansas State and Little Rock from Oct. 28-30.
Bennett's weekend stat line included 37 kills and 30 digs over eight sets as she spearheaded the efforts which kept the Ragin' Cajuns in sole possession of second place in the SBC West and in contention for the division title.
