LAFAYETTE — After getting a couple of days to think it over and look at the film from Saturday’s spring game, Louisiana-Lafayette coach Mark Hudspeth decided he does have a leader in the race to be the starting quarterback this fall.
“Jordan Davis is the leader right now at the quarterback spot,” Hudspeth said. “Just based on the spring game, at that time I wasn’t ready to name a starter. We’ve got to meet offensively these next two weeks, see where we’re at, see what we need to do.
“But he is the leader coming out of spring camp.
