CONWAY, S.C. – Louisiana's bats were red hot for a second consecutive contest as the Ragin' Cajuns unleashed 13 hits and nine runs off Coastal Carolina's pitching staff to take the series over the Chanticleers with a 9-7 win at Springs Brooks Stadium.
Through the first two games of the series, the Ragin' Cajuns (22-27, 10-13) have outhit the Chanticleers, 24-14, and outscored them, 19-7. Louisiana is now 16-6 when outhitting opponents this season.
Todd Lott was an absolute machine on Saturday afternoon, going 3-for-6 at the plate with two runs scored and a game-high four RBI.
