SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns sophomore Paul San carded 10 birdies to finish the first day of UTSA/Lone Star Invitational in a tie for second on a windy Monday at the par-72, 7,247-yard Briggs Ranch Golf Course.
San posted a two-round score of 1-under par (143) fueled by a first round 69 (-3), one of only four rounds in the 60s carded on the day. The Petaling Jaya, Malaysia native is tied with Gustavo Morantes of New Mexico and is three strokes back of Tee-k Kelly of Ohio State for the individual lead.
