LAFAYETTE, La. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Athletics Department and Oakbourne Country Club have partnered to build a new facility at Oakbourne, Director of Athletics Scott Farmer announced on Tuesday.
The project encompasses two separate buildings including a 2,500-square foot state-of-the-art hitting facility with three hitting bays that will be used to analyze swing mechanics and allows for inclement weather practices. The hitting facility will be shared jointly with Oakbourne Country Club and Ragin' Cajuns golf.
The second building is also a 2,500-square foot facility that will house coaches offices, a team locker room, showers, and restrooms.
