BATON ROUGE, La. – After a slow start in the first round, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns golf team bounced back in the afternoon to move up five spots during the second round into a tie for seventh at 35-over par (611) on the first day of the David Toms Intercollegiate on Saturday at the par-72, 7,220-yard University Club.
"It was another tough day on the course for the team," head coach Theo Sliman said. "We have to learn how to start better and not put ourselves in a hole each time out. I was proud of the way the guys responded in the second round.
