LAFAYETTE — The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team claimed the doubles point as well as the opening set in three singles matches, but Georgia State rallied to defeat the Ragin' Cajuns 6-1 on Friday at Cajun Courts.
Louisiana (8-3), which has its eight-match win streak snapped, opened the day on a high note behind an energetic crowd. The senior duo of Eric Perez and Coleman Wahlborg improved to 2-1 at No. 1 doubles for the Cajuns, needing 21 minutes to earn a dominant 6-1 victory over Georgia State's Zackery Kennedy and Jannis Koeke.
