LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball alum JaKeenan Gant took another step towards the National Basketball Association on Friday when he inked a free-agent deal with the Indiana Pacers.
Gant, who played at Louisiana from 2017-19, earned a slew of honors during his Ragin' Cajuns career that included being a two-time Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year, plus the Lefty Driesell Defensive All-America Team and named to the Lou Henson Award Watch List.
