LAFAYETTE – Head coach Mark Hudspeth will welcome 19 starters and 46 returning letterwinners as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football officially opens spring practice on Tuesday at the Ragin' Cajuns Practice Facility.
The Ragin' Cajuns will conduct the first of 15 practices leading up the annual Red-White Spring Game, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 16 at Cajun Field. Louisiana will hold afternoon workouts mainly on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with the majority of drills scheduled for the football practice fields and adjacent Leon Moncla Indoor Facility.
Hudspeth, entering his sixth season at Louisiana, looks to replace several key players from last year's team, including first-team All-Sun Belt Conference performers Jamal Robinson and Dominique Tovell.
