LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns golf junior Triston Elston carded a career low round of 68 (-4) to finish the first day of the Louisville Cardinal Classic in a tie for the lead on Friday at the par-72, 7,192-yard University of Louisville Golf Club.
Louisiana finished the day in third place as a team with a score of 4-over par (292). Miami (Ohio) leads the field with an 18-hole score of 4-under (284). Louisville is two strokes back of Miami in second place at 2-under, while Eastern Kentucky (+6) and ETSU (+7) round out the top 5 teams.
