LAREDO, Texas – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Golf team sat in a tie for eighth place with No. 13-ranked Baylor in the second round of the Border Olympics before play was suspended due to darkness on Monday at the Laredo Country Club.
Louisiana recorded a score of 7-over 295 in the opening round before standing at 19-over par when play was halted. Sixteen of the 18 teams, along with 85 golfers in the 95-player field, will resume second round action on Tuesday at 8 a.
