MOBILE, Ala. – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns senior golfer Fernando Cruz Valle carded a final round score of 1-over par (73) on a wet Tuesday to finish in a tie for third place with a 54-hole score of 3-under (213) at the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate hosted at the par-72, 7,212-yard Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course.
"I'm very pleased and proud to see Fernando come out in the first tournament of the spring in his senior campaign and post a good result," head coach Theo Sliman said. "It was great to see him come out of the gates with a good round, but I think he really learned a lot in the second and third rounds.
