Cajuns sign Curtiss Anderson to basketball team

LAFAYETTE — Louisiana-Lafayette men’s basketball coach Bob Marlin added his fifth overall signee to the 2016-17 squad when junior college transfer Curtiss Anderson signed a National Letter of Intent on Thursday.

Anderson, a 6-foot-8 forward, will have two years of eligibility remaining. Anderson is the fifth overall signee for the Ragin’ Cajuns, joining P.J. Hardy (Lake Charles), Justin Miller (Owensboro, Ky.), Roydell Brown (New Orleans) and Herman Williams (Marianna, Fla.).

“Curtiss is an athletic forward who will provide instant rebounding and defense around the rim,” Marlin said. “He is a good face-up player from 17 feet, and he has added a low post game.
