LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – and each recorded double-doubles and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team overcame a sluggish second half to earn a 77-63 win over Little Rock in the Sun Belt Conference opener for both teams on Friday at Jack Stephens Center.
Gant scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed 10 boards while Washington posted his 31st career double-double with 15 points and a season-high 19 rebounds as Louisiana (11-3, 1-0 SBC) won its SBC opener for the first time since an 83-79 overtime victory over Little Rock (3-11, 0-1 SBC) on Dec. 30, 2014.
