LAFAYETTE — The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team took care of business against Southern, scoring a 4-1 victory to record the team's first home win this season on Thursday at Cajun Courts.
Louisiana (2-6) picked up a win for the first time since a season-opening 4-1 win at Jackson State on Jan. 22. Southern fell to 3-7 on the season with the loss.
The Cajuns started the match on a high note, with the duo of Kelly Drew and Carla Ortega tallying the first doubles win of the day with a 6-1 victory on Court 2.
