HAMMOND, La. – The Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team finished fifth at the 2017 George E. Fourmaux Fed Cup Invitational, beating Nicholls, 3-2, in the fifth-place match to finish the weekend off on a high note.
Louisiana went 2-2 over the weekend playing in four matches. They lost to Southeastern Louisiana on Friday, Nov. 3 on the first day (4-1), before coming back on the second day, Saturday, Nov. 4, splitting their two matches on that day.
They started the day off with a 4-1 win over Alcorn State, before dropping their second match 4-1 to McNeese to finish their day and place them in the fifth-place match that they won today.
