LAREDO, Texas – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns golf team finished in 13th place with a two-round score of 7-over par (583) at the rain-shortened Border Olympics hosted at the par-72, 7,125-yard Laredo Country Club.
Senior Ragnar Gardarsson carded a season-low round of 68 (-4) in the first round playing 18 holes without a blemish. Gardarsson came two holes away from finishing in the top 10, but double bogies on his final two holes of the tournament dropped him down the leaderboard 23 spots to finish in a tie for 27th at even par (144).
