LAFAYETTE — Arthur Libaud shined for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team, earning a hard-fought 4-6, 6-1, 13-11 win at No. 1 and a close doubles match with teammate Jamie Fraser, but Penn outfought the Cajuns to win the doubles point and eventually claim a 6-1 victory on Wednesday at Cajun Courts.
Before Libaud's win in what ended up being the final match to finish, the Quakers had already clinched the match with five singles wins on the other courts. Louisiana falls to 11-7 with the loss.
Earning the doubles point was anything but easy for Penn, as the matches on Courts 2 and 3 went to tiebreaks.
