LAFAYETTE – After starting unbeaten over their first three Sun Belt Conference games the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's soccer team dropped their first match in conference, 3-0, at home to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers at the Ragin' Cajuns Soccer/Track Complex.
For Louisiana, it's their first loss since Sept. 8 and it drops their record to 5-5-1 (2-1-1 SBC), it's also the biggest loss they've suffered this season.
The win increases Coastal Carolina's record to 8-4-0 (2-2-0 SBC), and it's the first win for the Chanticleers in Lafayette since joining the conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED (First Half): The Cajuns came out on fire and set a pace that for the most of the first half Coastal Carolina couldn't maintain.
